“War changes the way one sees the world.”
Art at war:
It’s always been tough. Aspirations and ambition are often not enough to give an artist even a glimpse of success. Yet, such atributes are enough to inspire others around them to continue to fight the everyday, individual struggle. We like to think this leads to a sort of chain reaction, kind of a lot like that of street art. As a result, a reaction like this in the art community today has produced such distinctive approaches to the act of creativity that, at birth, each piece is consciously made knowing demise is almost certain. Basically, a perfect soldier is born.
Street art is born dead.
We pay tribute to these artists by trying to find as many pieces as we can and document them, not only for the sake of the fan, but for the creators too. We hope to grow as a sort of encyclopedia artists can reference when recalling their work.
